Description (last modified by )
E09EI6 Intel classmate PC.
The machine in question: http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?CategoryID=3&DetailID=934&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=93&LanID=9
Using both the 4.1 alpha anyboot image and the latest nightly (2014-02-12) dd'd to a USB stick this machine gets a kdl during boot. This seems to have in both normal boot and safe mode.
I've attached the syslog from the boot process, as well as some debugging output from the Debian installation on the machine's internal drive for a look at the hardware.

Ok, blacklisting generic_x86 seems to allow it to boot, so I am pretty sure that's the culprit.
