Description
Need to add copyright headers to the NFS add-on I ported and fixed, also ask the original author if reachable if MIT would be a possible licence (it was released as freeware). Original version found here: http://www.bebits.com/app/1021 Unlikely that emails at german univs are kept around but who knows...

Known addresses for him are: hubera AT forwiss DOT uni-passau DOT de I'm sure I tried this one and it didn't work, but can't find the mail.
googleing for "andreas huber beos" gives: ahuber AT ping.at (in an OS/2 thread mentionning beos) service AT prodad.com (seems to be a Andreas Huber at Prodad for a while... 2005) BeOS is also mentionned on a page of a Huber family website there: http://www.huber-bayern.de/links.html
I'll mail the first two and see.

So, ahuber AT ping.at gives: <<< 552 5.2.2 Over quota 554 5.0.0 Service unavailable <<< 503 5.5.1 No recipients

I sent a possible candidate (http://andreashuber.net/) the following email:
" Good evening!
I am looking for the original author of the NFS_client add-on for BeOS. If you are the author, the Haiku developers have updated and added your code to their operating system for NFS support and are have been attempting to contact you to see if you are willing to license the code under the MIT license.
You can see the bug ticket discussing this issue here: http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/1061
If you are not the developer of the NFS_client add-on for BeOS, then feel free to ignore this email. :)
Thanks!
--Alex "
I will report back to this ticket if I get an answer. I am doing this because i spent about an hour looking at Andreas' NFS code trying to fix it for Haiku before i noticed it was already fixed and in the tree.. sigh. Good job though! :)

I sent an email to an employee of the University of Passau, who worked together with Andreas Huber, he replied, he said that the only contact he has of Andreas Huber, is a postal address in the USA, that the last time he spoke with Andreas was September 2006, he told me Andreas's postal address.
Email to the original author bounces. Anyone else heard from Andreas Huber lately?
