Selecting and installing/deinstalling multiple packages at once must work

When you select multiple packages, you still only get the description of the latest click, and when you hit the install button, only that one package will get installed.

Instead, all selected packages should be handled at once, and the description should become a view that shows some statistics about the selection (like their combined size and number).
