I did a little experimenting with different disk types (CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R as well as store bought CD's and DVD's). The KDL's are occurring mostly with DVD's, regardless of type. I did get it to KDL once with a CD-RW.

Updated to hrev48319 and tested with a pair of disks that KDL'd previously. All appears well again. You can close this ticket.

This disk was previously readable on Haiku and contains photos. Two KDL's in succession.
