Description

hrev 48309 x86_gcc2 Insert DVD-R disk into optical device. System KDL immediately when attempting to mount disk. listdev, syslog, and KDL photo attached.

This disk was previously readable on Haiku and contains photos. Two KDL's in succession.

I did a little experimenting with different disk types (CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R as well as store bought CD's and DVD's). The KDL's are occurring mostly with DVD's, regardless of type. I did get it to KDL once with a CD-RW.

Can you test hrev48297 or older and confirm it still works there?

I have made some changes in hrev48315, do they help?

Updated to hrev48319 and tested with a pair of disks that KDL'd previously. All appears well again. You can close this ticket.
