Description
This is a slightly odd issue
I have no obvious network connectivity issues - all other network services work, NetSurf works for the sites in question, etc.
Web+ will sit with "requesting [domain]" in the status bar when attempting to visit certain domains but work on others - the same domain may then work in another tab at the same time. It can occur that Web+ will refuse to open any sites at all in a specific tab until its closed.
I'm able to recreate the symptoms consistently but not in a specific order. For instance, on my current load of Web+, no domains would open at all other than haiku-os.org and its subdomains for a short period, and now I can access nearly every site but it may take a few attempts in multiple tabs to do so.
At all times these sites are DNS resolving, consistently pingable without packet loss and work in netsurf
Using hrev48420 with Webkit 1.4.8 although issue was present on hrev48413 with Webkit 1.4.7 also.

This is solved in HaikuWebKit 1.4.9, which I will be uploading to the repo later today (once it is done building the package).

(In #11801) I'm currently uploading a new release of WebKit which should fix this.

WebKit 1.4.9 now available, this problem should be fixed in this update.
I am seeing this in hrev48418 as well. I talked to some of the other devs, and apparently nobody else could reproduce it (or else didn't try). For me, I could never get YouTube to load (unless it was a URL more than simply "youtube.com"), but could get some pages to load in various tabs at various times. Like you, I could load pages fine in QupZilla, and I could ping just fine as well 100% of the time.
