Description

Tried to play a pair of AVI files on 64 bit build (hrev48493). Both files cause a crash of MediaPlayer. These files do play normally on 32 bit hybrid build. On one occasion the system almost completely locked up. Process controller showing 2 of 4 cores 100%. Team monitor showing debugger running during the lockup. Attached syslog and debugger output.

Can you provide sample video files? Or at least the "ffprobe" output on those files so we can see what's inside.

I have attached Gspot reports for the three files I tried. "ffprobe" comes back as a "command not found" on Haiku.

Milestone: R1Unscheduled

Removing from R1: 64-bit only issue.

Had it happen again today with hrev49384 x86_64. Debug log attached.

This is still a problem with hrev49662 x86_64 32 bit seems unaffected by this bug All three .avi files I tested were produced on the same camera The debug reports appear slightly different to me, so I have attached them in case they may prove useful
