#11767 closed bug (fixed)

Closing a window doesn't set the focus to the previously active window

Reported by: humdinger Owned by: axeld

Description

This is hrev48693.

  • Open StyledEdit (StyledEdit has focus)
  • Open Terminal (Terminal has focus)
  • Close Terminal

Now StyledEdit should have the focus back. It hasn't.

This is probably the same reason that makes renaming something in the /system hierarchy impossible: You ALT+E the folder /system/non-packaged/apps, an alert pops up, you dismiss the alert, but the previously focused Tracker window doesn't regain focus and the folder name isn't in edit-mode anymore. Oops.

I guess it's an app_server thing, but I let you decide...

Not sure what fixed it, but with hrev48742 it works again as expected...
