When will there be support in Haiku for Dual Monitors?

There is, for some (very old) video cards. Complete support probably requires API changes and is not on the roadmap for Haiku R1.

Non-HD Radeons (VE, 7000, 9250, etc) support this, as well as Matrox G200 and possibly some others.

When available, the Screen preferences will let you set video modes for each screen and lay them out (left/right or up/down).

There is no special API support, so it looks like a single big display to apps. This has a few unwanted consequences, such as windows trying to center themselves opening between the two displays, etc.

Matrox G200,400,450,550, and (almost) all Nvidia cards that are supported that have dualhead hardware (Geforce upto GF7900 or so).

These drivers work for that using Mark Watson's Dualhead Setup, which now has version 0.05 (I should probably post it somewhere). Furthermore I just expanded the nVidia driver a bit for limited dualhead support using the Haiku screenprefs. That program is not very useable though (has some limitations these drivers don't like). With dualhead setup also PAL and NTSC (dualhead) TVout support exists (upto PAL and NTSC DVD native modes) for both Matrox and nVidia: though only on cards having a supported encoder.
