serial log from R1 A4.1? That'll be the key.

Yesterday I forgot to enable serial debug output in alpha 4 and could only provide a syslog. Today, I reinstalled the card and created a debug log attached (Feb13_2016_a4.txt) If there's anything else you need, let me know.

Replying to kallisti5:

Serial log provided as you requested - 5 months ago.

Tested today with hrev50523 x86_gcc2 and it's working! When comparing the listdev from 7 months ago to today, there are some minor differences.

Those differences are just changes in the upstream PCI info database we automatically update.

So this one is resolved then?

comment:9 by vidrep, 8 years ago

The only hardware difference is the monitor. The monitor I originally tested on was full HD (1920x1080). The current monitor is 1680x1050. Keep the ticket open for now. More testing is needed.

Here are the results: Connected ViewSonic VX2233wm Full HD monitor using all of the same cables - black screen Keeping the system connected and booting Alpha 4 - normal I have attached a syslog booting on each monitor. Radeon_ViewSonic_1920x1080 Radeon_Dell_1680x1050

Based upon my latest tests, the ticket description should probably be "Radeon HD2400 no video at full HD resolution"

After further testing today with hrev50575 x86_gcc2, I have found that 1920x1080 full HD is indeed supported. But, only on the #2 connector of the DMS-59 adaptor. #1 connector only shows a black screen. When connecting two monitors, only one appears to be fully functional. The second monitor has sync issues and remains active when the screen is set to turn off.

It appears that the last part of my previous comment is tracked in ticket #3501
