R1/Beta1 x86_gcc2h Hardware Boot Testing

We need to thoroughly test R1/Beta1 once the R1 branch is created.

Let's use this ticket as a central location to report booting issues on various hardware. (x86_gcc2h image)

Boot issues can be categorized as:

• System hard locks at startup.
• System reboots without starting up completely.
• Installation media doesn't boot.

When posting boot issues, please include the following:

• Hardware type (Desktop, Laptop)
• Hardware brand / model (Dell XPS.. blah)
  • If self-built, include motherboard and CPU model.
• Screenshot of syslog output on screen or syslogs if possible.
• Description of how installation media was created.

Please add your hardware to that page (mass-market systems preferred, though customs are OK too I guess). For x86_64 (#13113), hold off on that for now; we need to get EFI up and running first.
