Component: Kits/Media Kit Version: R1/Development

Description

media_addon_server sometimes hits a debugger() call after playing a youtube video. If that matters, I'm using the OpenSound driver.

I think that videos not playing to their full length is the primary symptom of this problem. For what it's worth, running WebPositive in the console gives clues too. Not the same clues every time, but clues. If I can, I'll post the next relevant clues.

Using YouTube Red:

The first file was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBOdEYSL7po (Human Again by Josh Joplin)

The second file that didn't load was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT_nvWreIhg (Counting Stars by OneRepublic)

You've got to wait for the first file to really struggle to finish.

Autoplay complicates things, so disable it.

Does this actually happen anymore? I'm just getting WebPositive crashes at the moment.

Web+ crashes are a different issue. This one is probably a problem in the OpenSound driver and only affects users using that driver. Please make your own bugreport.

I doubt statement 3. Will open separate bug report
