I was also making sure that autoplay was off, and that each video was running to completion, gagging all the way. I was also using YouTube Red

And I appreciate the good work that has been done. The last couple of comments may not be true. It just might be more reliable now.

Unable to reproduce; YouTube no longer permits the playing of videos on Web+.

Not reproducible at present time.
Web+ doesn't "crash." It doesn't ever load videos, therefore, it doesn't crash.

You can likely narrow it down by using sites that have normal html5 videos. However this code is due to be rewritten in any case.
Maybe the priority of the HTML 5 Audio Controls that WebPositive spawns is way too high (110).
If I play Whack-a-Mole I think it runs longer. Still buggy, but longer.
I know it could just be a figment of my imagination.
