Description (last modified by korli)

Haiku seems to be able to write files to, say, a FAT32 USB stick with no problem, except that it sets the date way into the future! You don't see this in the listing of the copied file initially, but when you unmount and remount (or mount the drive in Linux), the date is wrong.

For example, here's a test file created in Haiku, copied to USB and later (after a remount) copied back to Haiku:

-rw-r--r-- 1 pete root 0 Apr 3 12:00 timetest_ORIG
-r--r--r-- 1 pete root 0 May 10 2026 timetest

Most annoying for my preserved photos!
