#14101 closed bug (fixed)

SMAP violation - _kern_read_attr

Reported by: KapiX Owned by: korli
Priority: normal Milestone: Unscheduled
Component: File Systems/FAT Version: R1/Development
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:
Platform: All

Description

Screenshot attached.

I can reproduce this by inserting a USB stick, mounting it RW and opening it from the Desktop. As seen in stack trace, Tracker triggers it. I'm not sure though if my USB stick is magical :)

Sounds like #14072. Please always give your current hrev.

Oops, sorry. I have updated the OS to the newest version (hrev51894) for recheck and didn't pay attention to the stack trace. It complains about strlen now. Also similar one happened with NTFS stick. Screenshots attached.
