Description

Hi,

I can’t install Haiku to hardware, because USB mouse does not work. I used two different Zotac Mini PC with USB3 and USB2, no mouse. I used a Shuttle XPC 3770 Series USB3 and USB3, no mouse. I used a Fujitsu PC (newer one) boot with kernel panic. The only way to use Haiku is Virtual Box. I did several changes in BIOS (hardware), but no change. I hope that this problem is solved in Beta 1.

Regards,

Bernd

Please attach syslogs. See ReportingBugs.

Can not attach Logs, because no mouse. I do not know the replacement keystrokes for: open menu, execute command etc.

For me and all other it's important, that the Beta do not have this problem. I think, most developers using a hypervisor to check Haiku, so the hardware problems do not appear.

Did you try all USB ports? Different mouse? If you can install Haiku using keyboard navigation you can then reboot to linux and mount bfs partition to copy syslog from it.

Might work better with hrev53816, can you retry?
