No haiku logo on bootscreen when using vmware server

Description
When I use Vmware server the HAIKU logo doesn't appear on the boot screen. Just the top part is shown. The bug is present for a month.

Here's what I get with VMWare player with hrev24959. Does VMWare server show different?

Is this still an issue with the new boot logo? Anyone using VMWare server that can confirm or deny this one still exists? I say close it and if there's still an issue it can be reopened.

Works here on vmware server. Please reopen if it shows up again.

Is this still an issue with newer builds? what video chipset did this happen on? can you provide the output of listdev?
