#14916 closed bug (fixed)

Touchpad driver does not respect click sensitivity settings anymore

Reported by: BlueSky Owned by: waddlesplash
Priority: normal Milestone: R1/beta2
Component: - General Version: R1/Development
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:
Platform: All

Description

I have the click sensitivity in the Touchpad settings applet set to "off". With hrev52919 the touchpad allows clicks even though the setting is still at "off". Up to hrev52892 it worked correctly. The machine is an Acer Aspire 5315 running Haiku 64bit nightly.

Sorry there's a typo in the ticket description: Instead of hrev52919 (which would be in the future) it should be hrev52910

I've just updated to hrev52915 and the touchpad click behaviour is back to normal. Did several reboots to confirm. If I go back to hrev52910 the bug is there again.

Owner: changed from nobody to waddlesplash
Status: newassigned

Could be related to hrev52905.

Resolution: fixed
Status: assignedclosed

Indeed, the ioctl change was probably the fix then.
