Description

Usb pen with haiku hrev53223 cannot boot hrev53189 works

xhci errors on kdl syslog

The PCI ID for XHCI is not included here, but based on the first screenshot, it's "x5-E8000/J3xxx/N3xxx" hardware, which probably implies this XHCI controller: https://certification.ubuntu.com/catalog/component/pci/8086%3A22b5/

Since hrev53189 works but hrev53223 does not, this implies that the Event Data changes or something therein are to blame (possibly relevant commits: hrev53200, hrev53194.)

TmTFx reports via IRC that hrev53195 also works.

hrev53220 is apparently the first failing build.

Resolution: fixed
Status: newclosed

Fixed by reverting the offending commit in hrev53231.
