Description
Hardware:
Behringer 'UMC204HD'
Ports Tried:
USB Type A 2.0
USB Type A 3.0
USB Type A 3.1
Settings:
In Media preferences, I've unmuted every channel and slid all sliders to the positive end.
The input and output frequencies are both showing up as '192000 Hz'
The audio input and output settings both have the single option of 'HD Audio'

I do not understand what the 'isochronous transfers' talked about on the above page are, but it seems that this may be tackled in GSoC 2019 and pertain to external USB sound cards.

Would there be a log from building, and would it be useful to anybody?

The log from building is not useful, however if you install the driver it would be interesting to know if you get audio working or not. In this case syslog would be useful.
Isochronous transfers have been implemented, however, usb_audio driver is not yet included in the nightlies, see #10521. You can try to build it yourself with
jam usb_audio.
