Please attach your syslog after you boot and restart media services.

This seems to be related to spamming the mouse! So nothing will be clean.

Please do not zip syslogs, just attach the mdirectly.

comment:4 by WildKeccak, 5 years ago

The zip files were a last resort

I don't understand what you mean. What is preventing you from uploading the "syslog" files directly?

comment:6 by WildKeccak, 5 years ago

It was the last thing I tried when the other things I tried failed.

comment:7 by WildKeccak, 5 years ago

I don't know what really triggers this. I was careful with the mouse and keyboard and it still started out broken. I had to restart media services about twenty times before I crashed media_addon_server and had sound.

Please retest under a recent nightly.

comment:9 by WildKeccak, 17 months ago

None of this happens on R1/beta4 on the same box.

comment:10 by WildKeccak, 16 months ago

falsified (sound is available when I start my computer) by R1/beta4 (Revision hrev56578+59)

I can't load nightlies on this machine

comment:11 by WildKeccak, 14 months ago

This doesn't happen with hrev57257, and probably many other nightlies.

So the bug should be closed because it fails to occur under both a recent nightly and the current beta.
