#15695 closed bug (duplicate)

an old atheroswifi regression

Reported by: iam-alex Owned by: waddlesplash

Description

I just want to complain of wi-fi driver that does not discover nothing now. I'm wondering it doesn't work now even in beta, but it seemed to me that I used wi-fi year ago or so. Wi-fi definitively worked in past on this machine.

So, it is that wi-fi adapter:

device Network controller [2|80|0]

vendor 168c: Qualcomm Atheros device 002b: AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express)

Syslog is also attached.

Does it work under FreeBSD (or any distribution thereof)?

If you are in doubt about broken hardware -> Wi-Fi works fine in Linux. If question is if current versions of FreeBSD still support my netbook -> I will need to try.

Just to mention: I tried Wi-Fi under FreeBSD - it doesn't work. So it is not an Haiku issue, indeed. (I see that bug has status closed)
