After booting using an USB flash drive, the trackpad is not working at all. Laptop Asus X541NA Latest version downloaded yesterday after mailing list announce

I checked the Asus driver and it seems to be an I2C based touchpad. It will be handled by this driver when it is merged: ​https://review.haiku-os.org/c/haiku/+/2466
