Haiku don't do graceful hard drive power off when shutdow if you even just mount and then unmount by GUI some partition of the hard drive. The hard drive powers off with specific sound.
If you don't mount some hard drive partition then Haiku graceful power off hard drive with another specific sound.

Yes. I run liveusb and this happens only when i mount the hard drive partition.
