#16157 new bug

Czech translation (in Tracker) no more applied

Reported by: iam-alex Owned by: stippi
Priority: normal Milestone: Unscheduled
Component: User Interface Version: R1/Development
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:
Platform: All

Description

There is regression in latest hrevs (same as in current hrev54266) - at least Tracker lost its Czech translation.

I see related discussion in #15958, but don't really understand what exactly going on there. Hope it is temporary issue and already translated strings will come back.

The cut-off for included languages is 60%. According to Pootle, Czech is only at 50%. I'm afraid it'll not make in into the beta2.

1) so user will not actualy see translation even if he choose it? Even if he is aware of its incompletness? Some way to bypass it? 2) I'm ok with beta, it is for me kind of annual celebration like Xmas, but what about nightly?

Sorry for discussion here.

1) Yes, it won't be available in FirstBootPrompt and selecting it in Locale won't show Czech texts. Czech won't be part of beta2.
2) The nightlies will still have Czech translations. The 60% cut-off only applies to releases, AFAIK.
