Global keyboard shortcut to launch Terminal

A global keyboard shortcut to launch Terminal would be nice, as in Linux.

If you want one, you can add it in Shortcuts. Personally I don't think we should take up a global shortcut for this.

It's a fair point, but in the scenario when a laptop's touchpad is not working (or a USB mouse), user should be able to reach Terminal easily.

Some laptops do not have a menu key to open Deskbar menu to reach Terminal.

I am in favor of changing the Deskbar menu key to Right Windows Key or something like that. As for Terminal, maybe we should add a Team Monitor button for it.

I think the whole keyboard buttons should be rethought to be compatible with Mac laptops as well. Currently there is too much confusion. In Macs alt is option, but in Haiku speak, it's Windows/super key. This is a topic for a different ticket though.

Terminal shortcut is already available in Tracker context menu. I open Terminal from Tracker window. Haiku is not Linux and I don't think that global shortcut is needed. Global shortcuts is a limited resource and it should be not wasted. If user want global shortcut, he can add it in Shortcuts preference.

+1. As mentioned, there's the "Open Terminal" Tracker add-on (ALT+OPT+T) and TeamMonitor already has a shortcut ALT+OPT+T (maybe add as button, and lose the unneeded text there...).
