Description (last modified by )
So, I basically installed Haiku some days ago, but I had no luck with connecting to network. I boot Windows, macOS and Ubuntu as well and they have no problems with my adapter (Realtek® GbE LAN chip (10/100/1000 Mbit) in my GA-A320M-S2H motherboard).
But with Haiku, i had problems with DHCP. The syslog can be found in the attached file "result". Since some guys who tried to help me on Telegram told me to change to static, I set every single information carefully and applied the changes. The LAN status becomes "ready", but I still can't browse. The syslog for connection set as Static is in the file "result_02". Thank you for your patience!

This kind of problem would have been visible in a full syslog, which includes the pci devices configuration. Anyhow Haiku should support the device when the option is enabled.

Please retest on a new nightly. If it still does not work with the "Above 4G decoding" option enabled, please post a complete syslog.

No reply in 3 months, nor to the earlier request for a syslog.
Turns out the problem was an option in the BIOS, "Above 4G decoding". Disabling it solved the problem. Thanks anyone who tried to help.
