Connecting the digitizer (in listusb identified as "PenTablet") causes KDL when Haiku is already running.
If the digitizer is connected before turning on the PC it does not cause issues.

This happens 100% of the times I connect the device to an USB port with Haiku already running.

Attached is the Syslog, Syslog.old and a pic of the KDL screen.

Regards,
RR

Here are test builds with a potential fix: https://haiku.movingborders.es/testbuild/Ifcae84945a81123af5ef4683a6e33dc1eec5b23c/3/hrev55385/

Please install the haiku.hpkg for your architecture from one of these, and see if it fixes the problem.

Good day,

Today I had some time to do a simple test on this box: Haiku raven 1 hrev55181+62 Oct 13 2021 07:38: x86_64 x86_64 Haiku

I plugged the Digitizer and unplugged it several times and used the pen in Icon-O-Matic to do some drawing. No KDL issues while plugging and unplugging.
Everything seemed fine until I decided to test the keys on the digitizer. Then couldn't move the windows on the screen, instead only the window tab moved along the top edge of the window. Then suddenly, the mouse and keyboard stopped working. This might be related to the USB KM switch issue I've reported already #14523, which has improved over time, but isn't solved yet.

Nonetheless, there is no KDL now when I plug and unplug the digitizer, and it even recognizes clicks.

I will try same thing on the Nightly box and update accordingly.

Thanks a lot!\\ Regards,
RR
