T450S Thinkpad, UEFI BIOS JBET54WW (1.19)
Boot does not complete, in Legacy mode. It used to in R1/beta2.
It gets through the package_daemon "active package" inventory, and ends at "Volume::InitialVerify0: volume at "/boot/home/config" is consistent". After that, typically a fan comes on, suggesting a tight loop.
This is the R1/beta3 install image on USB, with "safe mode" and "failsafe video driver" selected, and disable SMP and don't call BIOS.
Beta3 boots successfully in UEFI mode, though I need the USB install image because the SSD "hard disk" isn't partitioned for EFI.

Boot failure while trying to install 32 bit Haiku on a Intel 10th generation laptop. USB access fails, so it can't read the memory stick it was booting from.
Also Haiku gets stuck booting 32 bit Haiku hrev 56549 on a MSI "GF63 Thin 10SCXR" laptop (Intel i5 10500H 6 core CPU) with the BIOS set to Legacy boot mode (known that UEFI 32 bit is not supported, so use Legacy).
The boot process recognises most of the hardware (even the NVMe disk), but has problems with the USB memory stick it is booting from and finally gives up. 64 bit Haiku boots nicely in UEFI mode and even in Legacy boot mode! The sign is a lot of "usb_disk: acquire_sem failed while waiting for data transfer: Operation timed out" messages all through the bootup process.
So, how do I get 32 bit Haiku booting on a modern laptop? Maybe install it to the hard drive using some oddball trick (like use VirtualBox to boot the installer and format the real partition and then GRUB to chain load it somehow).
