Description
When an application's window is repeatedly resized, used memory slowly increases. I have tested several applications, not all of them have this problem. WebPositive, ActivityMonitor, DeskCalc and Terminal are affected. I have tested on Virtualbox and real hardware (both use VESA), both are affected. Closing the application frees the memory.
The video is a demonsration of the bug. The lag in the video is because of the overload of recording.
Reproducing:
- Launch ActivityMonitor. Note down memory usage.
- Repeatedly shrink and grow window of ActivityMonitor for a few seconds.
- Check memory usage again, it should have increased.
