Description
It seems that https://cgit.haiku-os.org/haiku/commit/?id=890aa41134bae3a6aa567b693f3af7c3a5fb47a7 introduced changing the brightness for the backlight. On my system it just turns it off.

That sounds bad. We should probably prefer no backlight support on such devices instead of that problem...

Holding up a flashlight, I could see the screen and tried to adjust brightness, backlight didn't come back on. I was able to reboot, but the backlight was still off. Had to reboot again and blacklist the driver to get the backlight back. That said, I hope the logs contain useful information since there were two reboots.
