Description
if a repo configured in pkgman list-repos
is broken or unavailable, updates or software package installations will refuse to function.
The package kit should timeout and temporary "disable broken repos" in the current transaction after 10-15 seconds.

In fact, there's already such alert in the Repositories app when the repo that you try to activate takes too long to answer. Though, it seems that even if you cancel it still activates the repo. Maybe this should present two choices "Cancel interrogation and activation" and "Cancel but activate anyway". In SoftwareUpdater, the alert should propose to cancel the update process or to continue without the repo that bring up the alert.

An alert window or similar for the user would be nice with the hint repo xyz doesn't respond.
