Anti-aliasing issues with certain fonts

Description
Certain fonts are not anti-aliased when displayed at certain font sizes. For instance, Calibri and Cambria (of the WebCore fonts package) do not show up anti-aliased between sizes 13 and 17. You can test this in FontDemo.
Also, in FontDemo when these fonts are displayed in that size range, if you uncheck the "Anti-aliased text" box, the text will disappear completely and will only be visible outside of that size range.
Other fonts, such as Arial, do not have these problems.

These fonts are not part of the linked WebCore fonts package. However I could download Calibri elsewhere and it displays without issues. Assuming fixed some time in the last 7 years then.
Calibri displaying fine at a larger size
