Description
Plenty of times, when working on HaikuPorts recipes, I need to repeatedly install/uninstall one or more locally built packages.
Most of the times, it means I need to wait for pkgman to check online repos, and, as HaikuPorts repo changes regularly, that means waiting for the "repocache-2" files to download.
Not that big of a problem when Internet works well (even at the ocasional *max* 350 KB/s I ever get from https://eu.hpkg.haiku-os.org), but becomes pretty annoying when download is in the < 5-20 KB/s range, assuming the download actually finishes.
It should be possible to install (try at least) local packages using the last repocache-2
, if the user is OK with that, no?
Waiting longer for that local install than for the builds themself... kind of a mood killer :-/

I had thought there was already a ticket for this, but I can't seem to find it.
