Booting with EFI gave a blank screen, this happened with csm booting.

Efi works; csm breaks at kernel handoff (icon 0 never lights): beta4 hrev56737 hrev56827 hrev56830 hrev57391 beta5
I've re-imaged the thumb drive, and now I cannot reproduce it anymore. CSM booting is still broken though. It would be neat to figure out why, since using my dev machine at native resolution is kind of appealing ;)
Sadly no driver on beta5 either.

Can you try and narrow down when this regressed?
I don't have any particular plans to investigate this before beta5; it doesn't sound as though many users (if any besides you) have encountered this in boot testing.
