Description
Here is an optional patch to add a link in application menu for PackageInstaller. I say optional because I'm not sure it's really a good thing if .pkg files are already associated with that application. Anyway, be the judge :)

Yup, your approach totally makes sense. You can close that bug as invalid.

Yes, the idea was that the package installer is associated with the file type and one should simply double click .pkg. So it was left out on purpose, also for reducing unnecessary "clutter" in the menu, though I would absolutely agree it is debatable in principle. Anyways, should I close this as invalid?
