Description
PowerStatus should check if apm is enabled in kernel settings, otherwise don't ask a user to install itself in the Deskbar. Because if it not enabled it will just exit, which will confuse user. BTW, PowerStatus is missing from components in trac.

I think this ticket could be closed, because PowerStatus doesn't quit after start anymore and apm support is commented out in my kernel settings.

This looks like more an ACPI thing.
