Description
When i boot Haiku, first thing I do is launching Screen to change resolution to my monitor native one - 1440x900.
The only problem with it is that I have to press Auto button of my monitor when to center half shifted screen. When I reboot to ubuntu I have to press it again. And this is kind of annoying to do every time.
It's an nVidia NV18 [GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x] (rev a4) 10de:0181

Hi,
EDID/DDC handling is now fully implemented in the driver. Also it will (because of that) startup in your screen's native resolution.
What I could do to help you with the 'having to re-autodetect' screen between different OS-boots is now done. Therefore closing ticket. Hopefully you're satisfied with that as there's not much more I can do.
Bye!
Rudolf.
