#3272 closed bug (fixed)

Pre-Alpha vmware image is too small to do much work

Reported by: scottmc Owned by: sikosis
Priority: normal Milestone: R1
Component: - General Version: R1/pre-alpha1
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:
Platform: All

Description

Having only 400Meg doesn't leave much room to do anything with the pre-alpha image. Please consider making a larger version perhaps a 2Gb version.

Also note that the attached image shows #1870 filling up the drive.

Perhaps change it to 650Mb or 700MB whatever the standard size of a CD is? Seems having an extra 300Mb or so would be large enough for most small to mid sized projects.

Sikosis any progress on this yet? Should only take about 5 minutes....

This has been addressed, expanding the image to 600mb (hrev32944) and having blank bfs images to be used as data images (http://haiku-files.org/files/blank-bfs/). Ticket can be closed.
