Strange desktop icon behavior

Description
In recent builds I've been seeing the desktop icons change to mini-icon mode on reboot. When i check to see what mode they are set at, nothing is checkmarked, so i change them back to normal default, icon 32 size and that seems to fix it, until the next reboot that is. I've only noticed this happening in the past couple weeks or so, builds newer than hrev30500 or so.

still with us as of hrev30915. This time it happened after an involuntary reboot, my PC overheated and shut itself off... so maybe some setting or something isn't being saved?

I've seen this one quite often in the past two weeks while working on Tracker (ie: starting/quiting (ok... crashing) tracker a lot). I assumed it was something with my current changes and hadn't noticed this ticket. But i'm pretty sure it's a recent bug, i'll have a look next time i see it.

I haven't seen this happen in months now, so yeah it's probably fixed now.
switched to mini-icons upon reboot, but icon-mode is still checked.
