This is actually no bug: the mouse moves only every two pixels, because that's the current default mouse speed. You can lower the speed with the mouse preferences application, but since acceleration of the mouse cursor is not yet implemented, this is no fun. I keep this bug open, but I changed the summary to be more correct.
