Description
Try to unify all timestamps on the various Haiku sites; blogs, forum, haiku-files.org directory listings. If doable, we might as well try to stick to a 24h clock everywhere while we're at it. cia.vc and freelists.org both use UTC.

With the move of dev.haiku-os.org and www.haiku-os.org to our new server, is this resolved now?
I don't know about haiku-files.org...

Honestly, the initial report is very vague bordering 'invalid'.
Every server has the notion of UTC, but they don't use it. I know that users can set the timezone on dev.haiku-os.org, and all the times will be localized. www.haiku-os.org also allows users to set a timezone, but I'm not sure whether that localizes the times on the website, but I imagine so.
I guess haiku-files.org uses local time, but the php script could be modified to use GMT.
The question is, do we want to modify the timezone on haiku-files or will it suffice to just put down the timezone the timestamps are in.

Replying to nielx:

I think you hit the nail on the head right there.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here, I neither wish to force anyone to go UTC, nor to undo any customizable website. What I am arguing for is to have UTC timestamps by default, nothing more. If people can set their own timezones in their profiles or wherever, that's totally fine.
Website tickets don't have a version.
