Description
Aldeck suggested I put this one in a bug report. I have Haiku installed natively on the following system:
- AMD Phenom X4 4x2.2Ghz
- ATI Radeon HD3200, integrated
- 4GB RAM
- IDE HDD
- SATA DVD drive
- Foxconn A7GM-S 2.0 motherboard
- CMI8738-based soundcard
I'm using a 1920x1080 23.6" BenQ monitor connected over DVI, and according to the syslog (attached), I should be able to use the native resolution, instead of the Screen pref panel limiting me to 1280x1024.

Unfortunately, your native resolution (1920x1080) is not in the VESA BIOS mode list. There is 1920x1440 in the list, but I am not sure if that resolution is handled in our common accelerant code. It wouldn't help you in any case. So I would suggest to close this bug as invalid, since the VESA driver can indeed not offer your native resolution, and is thus behaving correctly. Please reopen if I missed something.
