Description
When I connect HDD to eSATA port, I waited 2 minutes after 4th splash icon on Haiku booting. If eSATA is disconnected, Haiku boots fast. eSATA isn't boot drive.
Safe mode screen debug shows the follow error message many times:
ata 2 error: device selection timeout
ata 2-1 error: failed to send transfer request
Additionally, Haiku doesn't boot when eSATA is connected and safe mode screen debut output is enabled. After clearing screen, system freezes.

Improved!
<Time between 4th splash icon and 5th>
Previous
With eSATA: 2 minutes
Current
With eSATA: 17 seconds Without eSATA: 4 seconds
Still slow than without eSATA. But it may be by GPT?
