#4521 closed bug (fixed)
Boot hangs on Core i7 with SMP enabled.

Description
It gets far enough to display the splash screen but does not get to the first icon. If on screen output is enabled in the bootloader it apparently hangs before the splash screen switches over to the text output. Pressing escape at boot yielded the attached picture. I'll post system details in a moment.

Same thing on Gigabyte ex58-ud3 with core i7 950.
When setting enabled cores to 2 in BIOS setup Haiku will however boot and work.

Please check with revision up of hrev33349.
I have checked on the system with i7 920 and the problem goes away. I think we can close this ticket.
Welcome to the Haiku shell.
