No return from screen saver / turn off screen

Description

This is consistent behavior on my laptop after installing from the live cd.

~ how to reproduce : wait for the screen saver to kick in and then for the screen to turn off

~ experienced behavior : mouse and keyboard input do not result in screen turning back on

~ expected behavior : any user input should turn the screen back on and return the user to the desktop.

Sounds like possibly something going wrong with APM there...do you by any chance have a syslog from that system that you could attach?

I do not know if it still the case, but you have to leave a comment when adding an attachment or no one will know the ticket has been modified.

That issue has indeed be fixed - notifications are now send whenever something is attached.

Hi peroxidechicken, could you possibly test this now on a newer Haiku to ensure it is fixed on your hardware? This way we can close this issue for sure.
