Description
ASUS A8V-VM motherboard has integrated 'ADI AD1986A SoundMax 6-channel HD' sound card. If it's enabled in bios then Haiku will boot, load and then reboot the PC, right in the end of loading process. If audio is disabled in bios, Haiku works. Same outcome if Haiku is running from live-CD or installed on hard-drive.

Can you recheck this with a recent Haiku build? It may have been fixed recently.

On A2 audio works, but can't remember if required some tweaking. Now can't verify https://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/8595.

Just to add: by the 'and then reboot the PC, right in the end of loading process' I mean that whole desktop, icons and Deskbar is loaded. So maybe the reboot is forced when something tries to play audio through the sound-card.
