Description
Hello,
I was playing with Haiku yesterday and i thought that the "Locale" preflet should update some preferences of the Tracker as well.
Eg: When choosing a Belgian localization with an European date, the date in the tracker should be in the same format.
Also the time zone should be change according to the country, i am not sure the 'Time zone' tab is still needed on "Time & Date" preflet.
Thanks and sorry if it's have been already thought ;)

I think I will do it as follow :
- The timezone settings will be moved inside the locale preflet, and will be synced to the country by default, unless you customize them to be otherwise
- Tracker will format its dates properly when we'll localize it, which is not yet done.

Are you sure moving the timezone setting into the Locale panel is a good idea. For me Locale == language and Time == time, date, timezone. So that's where I'd look for it. Maybe the Time panel could look into the locale setting for a hint how to set the timezone, if the user hasn't set the timezone explicitly yet. Likewise the Locale panel could look into the timezone setting, if that has been set already, to guesstimate a default when there's no explicit locale setting yet.
If you do move the timezone setting into the locale panel, please consider adding a button to change the timezone into the Time panel.
I agree with the first part of your ticket and think PulkoMandy did think of that already, but didn't implement it yet.
The time zone tab, however, is still needed and this setting can't be "sync'ed" with the locale setting. You may still want your french Haiku when working for a few months in Beijing while having the correct local time. :)
