Description
I just wanted to double-check. Some applications, like FireFox, expect that /var/tmp directory to be there for downloads. Should there be a symlink to /boot/common/cache/?

As suspected, try using the BeOS program PackageBuilder on Haiku now, it won't work because /boot/var/tmp isn't there anymore. I think this is a pretty important/useful app.

Thanks for the note. However, this is not an important application, and can be easily made run by providing the necessary links, if wanted. A developer (and only a developer would be interested in that tool, anyway), should be well capable to do that.
And if not, the optional package BeOSCompatibility now also creates the directories/links as needed since hrev35415.
For BeZillaBrowser, I'll look into it: http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla1.8/search?string=var/tmp
There's already a few bits that warrant a new release.
