Description
Console processes started from the Terminal session are not terminated after that session was closed: 1) Open Terminal. 2) Start command "mc" 3) Note the "mc" process in the Deskbar 4) Close Terminal 5) "mc" process is not terminated.

No luck so far -- the program was terminated when closing the terminal. I have only tried under qemu though, where it doesn't seem to be able to find peers. Maybe that makes a difference. I'll first look into #3340 which might be just the same bug.

Should be fixed in hrev35584. Please reopen, if you can still reproduce it.

Do you have another, more easily accessible example of a program that doesn't terminate when closing the shell? Or can you at least point to where one can get a working Midnight Commander version for Haiku? The BeBits links are all dead and the Haikuware version doesn't work.
