Description (last modified by )
hrev35775 SVN build under Ubuntu on Acer TravelMate 2490. During boot as is seen in syslog, neither atheros or broadcom440 are detected. I removed manually the soft link from /boot/system/add-ons/kernel/drivers/dev/net and then created it again. The change is visible in syslog, but device init failed.
Long before, when haiku-wifi wasn't merged into official svn tree, first release of atheros wifi worked just great. After that it stopped.
For ethernet broadcom440 driver I've created ticket #2998, 16 months ago, last entry was 14 months ago. Not much development since then.

Most likely the same cause as in #2998.
Forgot to add: GCC4 build.
